Nose bleed music ; -) Pete Brown began Dj’ing in 1996 and since then has risen to become a well established name around the midlands and through out the U.K gaining a huge number of dedicated supporters and loyal followers, combining intuition and talent with a crazy personality, he creates an atmosphere on every dance floor he plays too ensuring people are left in a euphoric frenzy of emotions.<o:p></o:p> Pete’s climb to the top has taken him to many places around the U.K and overseas including Ibiza, Germany, Yugoslavia, playing at some of the worlds most well known clubs and promotions including UFO at Es Paradis in Ibiza or Passion, Escapism, Insomniacz, Return to the Source and Hotdog here in the U.K, to mention only a couple.<o:p></o:p> Pete has hard work and determination paid off very quickly securing him residencies with Sensoria, Escape, Elysium and many more. Pete quickly gained a feel for how the business worked and began to promote nights for himself including the legendary 2FACED which to this day remains one of Milton Keynes most talked about and remembered nights held at the legendary Sanctuary, he also ran Temptation in the trendy Revolution bar, also alongside his own promotions he co-promoted both Mew’Zik, teaming up Mart D’Funk taking their funk throughout the midlands, and also running Wolverhamptons highly successful Trancend and Phoenix with life time friend John Uren.<o:p></o:p> Pete is known and loved for his passionate approach to Trance, he’s played trance through the spectrum from progressive to side splitting psy-trance in the early hours, he believes music should be active, it should make the listener feel like they’re in that moment from the start to the end of his sets which in the past have lasted way in excess of six hours.<o:p></o:p> Pete has gone from strength to strength through the years he has been playing the circuit, from securing residencies to promoting nights to making his own music, in 2003 he won the award for 'Best dance DJ' as voted by readers of the 'Milton Keynes Citizen', with this Pete grew more focused to continue giving his supporters the quality, dedication and energy they have come to know and more importantly to Pete, deserve to receive from him every time!!<o:p></o:p> Pete is recently took a three year break from the circuit as he and his wife had twin boys which demanded a lot of time. Since coming off the break he has secured a residency with Therapy (Milton Keynes) and Misfit Mansions (Various locations) which is a series of underground parties offering a select invitation policy where he’s been bringing himself back into circuit fitness.<o:p></o:p> ; Paul Oakenfold - Zen Mechanics - Leftfield
